GRAPHIC DESIGN
I have branded myself on this portfolio with a logo design. I have included some of these images to display my ability and skill set with video editing, mock up and graphic design alongside examples of previous projects.
Photoshop and Illustrator are my go-to packages when creating logo designs, labels etc and I primarily use InDesign for print set up requirements.
LOGO DESIGN
I designed my first logo when I was 10 years old for my fathers diving club called "Dragon Divers" This was a crude drawing of dragon wearing a scuba mask that was embroidered onto the teams polo shirts. That was the moment I decided to pursue a career in design.
Since then I have created a range of logo designs for multiple companies, charitable organisations schools and hobbyist throughout the years. I have selected a few for you to view within a designated gallery below.

LABEL DESIGN
My employment at Suppleform & Vydex during 2017 -2020 greatly increased my skillset and knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Dimensions and InDesign. Initially I started as part of a small team of graphic designers creating labels for a range of supplement products sold through the company for customers and in-house brands like MSC Nutrition.
After two years I was promoted to Export Design Executive where I was solely responsible for some of our prestigious oversea customers. Creating bespoke branding, label designs, content for marketing and legislation where just some examples of my daily duties at this company.
My most memorable moment at this company was being responsible for designing a range of label designs for the notorious Charles Bronson! Managed by a close friend of Charley, I worked alongside them and created labels that where presented to the man himself, inside his cell. I was informed that he was so pleased he decided to exchange artwork and made me a personalised signed piece of art! (image in the gallery below). I still have this framed and its locked up safe.
Unfortunately the brand did not take off, perhaps due negative feedback. You can however still view some articles from The Sun, Daily Mail & LADbible below by selecting this button.

CONTENT & PRINT
During my employment as a label designer I was already very familiar with digital printing and the importance of saving out files correctly, occasionally we would outsource print jobs and this would require further knowledge in Litho printing, colour management. I was also responsible for creating unique content for adverts across websites and social media platforms for multiple brands. In 2020 my print knowledge exceeded even further after getting a job as a middleweight graphic designer for a large format printing company called Heathpak.
My role here included creating, managing and organising print jobs for production for units in the 50,000 + category. Due to strict policies I do not have any copies of the artwork created for some well known international & UK food manufactures to display on this portfolio. Preparing artwork and setting up new batch codes, print marks, spot colours and physically creating printing plates where part of my daily duties. Our planning team would provide me with a tight schedule and it was my responsibility to ensure that all artwork was ready for production. High attention to detail was required at all times due to any errors would result in batches of nearly 30 -50,000 units being printed incorrectly.
I left this company to pursue a career as a furniture designer in 2021 and to this day I would say my role as middleweight graphic designer for this company was one of the most intense I have experienced. Strict deadlines and an everchanging print schedule was a daily battle that I thrived on completing, it certainly taught me a lot.
The gallery below has some examples of print jobs and content I have created throughout my employment and on a freelance basis.

VIDEO EDITING & ADVERTS
Video editing is an area I recognise that needs more attention within my skill set as a graphic designer. I am familiar with Premier Pro and After affects and can create, edit and export videos using this software, I have included examples of my branded shorts within the gallery below.
To achieve a quick turnaround for videos I primarily use Premier Rush & Adobe Express to create adverts, and content for social media and websites. Should a role require me to strengthen my abilities with Premier Pro or After affects then I will happily take on any challenge to prove my capabilities with these software packages.
Please find some video examples of adverts and promotional material I have created in the gallery below.
